Holiday crafting ideas Archive
This year we are making baskets for the family. They are sleigh themed with holiday kitchen towels,
ralph lauren, a candy dish and spreaders. Following family tradition,
oakley outlet, we are also hand making beaded ornaments to place in the basket. I may add a small bag of cookie mix or something else to finish it off. Then I'll seal the basket with see thru holiday film.
How to make holiday wrapping paper:Craft glueCut a piece of cardboard so that it is the same length as the rolling pin. Tape one end of the cardboard to the rolling pin, all the way across. Roll the rolling pin so that the cardboard wraps around it, making a tight cardboard cover. When you reach the end of the cardboard, tape it in place. (It may wrap around more than once.)
Cut 1 inch holiday shapes, such as bells, stars,
ugg boots, and angels,
jordan pas cher, from the weather stripping. Coat the cardboard rolling pin cover with glue. This is easier if you set each handle on a thick cookbook, so that the rolling pin is hanging between the books.
Press the shapes in place,
kors outlet, turning the rolling pin as you go,
oakley, so that your pattern goes all the way around the rolling pin. Let the glue dry. Several colors embossed. I've made them a few years now really,
ralph lauren, it takes awhile, I should have started earlier, This year I'm putting a snowman carrying gifts,
herve leger, on the front using embossing markers of several colors them putting on embossing powder, then you must heat them with a heating gun to activate the embossing powder. Inside I stamped Merry Christmas in red a few snowflakes in white. Then embossed that in a glitter powder.
A simple pretty thing you can make is a blanket. You get 2 pieces of soft material (whatever size you want your blanket) one with a print the other solid. Lay them back to back cut fringe in them (about every 2 inches cut in about 4 inches),
cheap jerseys. Tie a strip from one to the other piece of material at each piece of fringe,

Koala A simple and inexpensive gift idea . . . Either at a discount store or a thrift store buy a picture frame. You can either leave the frame as it is or embellish it by painting or gluing things on it. Then either take a photo and put it in the frame or put a mirror in the frame. You can also write on a piece of paper a poem,
new balance walking shoes, a favorite saying, etc. and put that in the frame.
