'Flirty' caddy company expands to Pinehurst
Todd Speciale, owner and president of Orlando, Fla. based Who's Your Caddy,
louboutin, said the caddies are professionals who do many of the same tasks as other caddies.
They rake sand traps, replace divots and repair golf ball marks on greens, but they drive golf carts instead of carrying golf bags.
The caddies do not advise golfers on which club to hit or how a putt might break, Speciale said. Instead, each caddie is more like a "golf concierge for the day," he said.
Speciale said the caddies are required to wear a shirt with a collar while they are caddying, but some photos on the company's website show them in form fitting tank tops and short shorts. Caddies are encouraged to be "flirty and fun with conversation,

Dennis Cone,
reebok, president and CEO of the Professional Caddies Association in Palm Coast, Fla.,
ugg, said his organization believes that anyone who performs caddie duties at any level and is paid for the service is a professional caddie. He said his group has several levels of training that might help female caddies do their job.
Cone said female caddie services are more acceptable near cities where conventions are held. The services can make golf more fun and might get women and girls interested in the game, he said.
"They should be required to pass a caddie school so others on the course will not be offended by a lack of professionalism," he said.
Speciale said Who's Your Caddy,
abercrombie kids, which has the same name as a recent movie,
p90x2, has concentrated on the golf rich state of Florida in the year and a half since it started, but it is expanding into other parts of the country.
"We're trying to go to the top 10 golf destinations in the country," he said.
When the company first started, some of the caddies in Las Vegas and Reno, Nev., wore lingerie while they worked, Speciale said. He decided to stop the practice and now requires caddies to dress professionally.
Speciale said Who's Your Caddy is a family business,

"We created it from scratch," he said.
Who's Your Caddy has had only one complaint from a course about a caddy, Speciale said. The caddy forgot her regular shirt and wore her tank top, instead.
Golfers can select their top four choice of caddies from the company's website. The site now lists Charlotte as the only city in North Carolina,

Speciale said golfers usually get one of their top choices. The company calls golf courses to let them know when caddies will be working there, he said.
"We have not had a club turn us down yet,

Speciale said Pinehurst is a natural place for the company.

"I've been around it all my life," she said. "We lived out there for most of my childhood."
Krupa, a junior at Methodist University,
valentino, said she hasn't yet caddied, but knows about golf and the game's etiquette. She said the Cape Fear region is the perfect area for the company to expand.
"Pinehurst is a Mecca for golf," she said. "It makes sense for Who's Your Caddy to put down some roots in the area."
