E C Translations In the first part of this blog, jimmy choo outlet, I shared my wife's and my own personal experiences in learning a second language, and based on those experiences, I shared ideas of how you could learn another language, as well. The first of the three points I mentioned in the first part of this blog was the need to be motivated to learn another language. Continuing with this theme, we'll now look at the second point. A very influential factor for both my wife and I in being able to learn a second language has been the fact that we were surrounded by the language that we were wanting to learn. If you have no "back door",gucci, so to speak, no way of communicating with the person in front of you other than to use that language, you will find a way, and you will grow in your knowledge in an unbelievably short amount of time. When I went to Mexico, mont blanc, in 1986, to teach, mcm outlet, I found myself needing to get out and do my own shopping. Because of this, one of the very first phrases I learned in Spanish was, "Quiero una coca en una bolsa." [I want a Coke in a bag]. Why would I want to learn that phrase? Well, abercrombie, back in the 80's, Mexico did not have disposable bottles for their soft drinks. So,air max one, while I was "out and about" doing my shopping and I got thirsty, free run 5.0, and 1) there were no drinking fountains,michaelkors.com, and 2) there were only glass bottles. To solve this problem, tory burch sandals, I had to ask to have the Coke poured into a bag with a straw (see photo), so I wouldn't need to have an empty bottle for a deposit or pay for the cost of the bottle. I then used that sentence to go from the known to the unknown. In other words, coach outlet store, I replaced words in that sentence with others to change the meaning. I could say, "I have a Coke in a bottle". Or, "I want a pizza."Etc. By doing this I expanded my vocabulary. I discovered that with a few key verbs I could express a large amount of ideas. Here is a chart of these key verbs: When my wife first arrived in the United States, she knew very little English. During the weekdays,p90x workout schedule, she would be alone because I was working. On those days, my mother would invite my wife to go shopping with her. The only problem was that my mother did not know Spanish, but that didn't stop her from talking to my wife! My mom would just chat away, and my poor wife would try to follow along the best that she could. Little by little my wife began to understand more and more English. So,nike running, how can you apply this? Two ways: 1) you can do what both my wife and I did and go to a country where the language you want to learn is spoken, and stay there for a few months. There are schools in many countries that will help you speak their language; and 2), probably more practical for most, is to find a native speaker near your home that would be willing to help you. Chances are that the motivation to want to learn the language (point number one) is because that language is used near you. So,north face, you should be able to find someone who would be interested in helping. Then, air jordan, schedule a regular time to chat with the person. The one pitfall is that, if that person also knows English or even is interested in learning English, there is a tendency to fall back into English which will defeat the purpose. The important thing is to find an opportunity to immerse yourself in the language, air max, and little by little increase your vocabulary over time. You'll notice that if the words that you are learning are relevant, the more easily they stick with you. In the third blog of this series, I will continue with this theme and give more tips to help learn another language. ???????? ray ban sunglasses outlet Checked Luggage size oakley sunglasses chea...n one bag of Hominy Grits nike factory Clarets' ...even Gerrard Bags A Brace celine handbags Bag man sues Costco air max pas cher Dress To Impress |
